How I work

What I do for homes

Most of my residential projects are full renovations: a ground-floor extension in Amstelveen, an Amsterdam attic turned into a floor for the parents, a two-floor apartment in De Pijp. I start by listening to how you live. Then I make the layout, the lighting plan, the technical drawings for the contractor and the choice of every material, colour and piece of furniture. Smaller projects are welcome too: a living room restyled, a kitchen or bathroom replaced, a new colour scheme for the whole house.

Renovation and remodeling planning

A good renovation is decided on paper. I prepare furniture layouts, electrical and lighting plans and technical drawings the contractor can build from, and I stay involved during the work to answer questions and check the result. If you do not have a contractor yet, I can help you find one.

Home styling and home staging

Home styling is for a house that works but does not feel finished: I choose furniture, lighting, textiles, art and colours so the rooms come together. Home staging prepares a house for sale or for rent, so the photos and the viewings show it at its best.

Where I work

I am based in the south of Amsterdam. Most of my projects are in Amsterdam and Amstelveen, with others in Aalsmeer, Uithoorn and Zaandam.

Good to know

How does a project start?
With a visit to your home. We walk through the rooms, you tell me what works and what does not, and I tell you what I see. After that you receive a proposal with the steps and the fee, and the design starts.
Do you also manage the renovation?
Yes. I can take a project from the first sketch to the handover: drawings, quotations, contractors, orders and site visits. You decide how much of that you want to hand over.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. A single room, or a styling of what you already have, is just as welcome as a whole house.
Which areas do you cover?
Mainly Amsterdam and Amstelveen, and the towns around them such as Aalsmeer, Uithoorn and Zaandam. Further away is possible for larger projects.
