Interior design for rental and investment properties in Amsterdam

Rentals and resales finished to earn more, with style. I plan the renovation, choose finishes that last and furnish the apartment so it lets or sells quickly, at a cost that fits the investment.

How I work

Everything I do

Finishes that earn their keep

A rental apartment has to look good in photos, survive its tenants and cost little to maintain. I choose durable floors, kitchens and bathrooms, a calm colour scheme and furniture that is easy to replace, within a budget we agree on in advance. Several furnished apartments in Amsterdam, from a 45 m² studio to a 100 m² three-room flat, were designed this way.

Managed for owners who are not nearby

Many owners do not live close to their property. I manage quotations, contractors, deliveries and installation and keep you informed as the work progresses, so the apartment is ready to let without you having to be there.

Preparing a property for sale

For a resale, home staging is often enough: repairs, paint, lighting and furniture that show the space at its best for the photos and the viewings.

Questions

Good to know

Do you work within a fixed budget?
Yes. We agree the budget first and I design within it. Clients tell me the prices I get for what I buy are a large part of what they save.
Can you furnish the apartment as well?
Yes. Furniture, lighting, curtains and the small things that make an apartment ready to let can all be part of the project.
Can you handle the whole renovation for an owner who lives abroad?
Yes. Drawings, quotations, contractors and installation can all be managed on your behalf, with updates along the way.
Where do you work?
Amsterdam and Amstelveen mainly, and the towns around them.
