Bird of Paradise

I'm Krasimir. Krasimir in Bulgarian means 'making the world beautiful'. I am a renovation contractor, and I own this house. I break walls and then rebuild them in different locations. I paint, replace, polish, and renovate.

But, despite my name, I don't understand much about HOW to make things look designed and beautiful. Mostly I see the pipes that need to be replaced, the floor that requires some polish, the tiles that better be renewed, and that kind of stuff.

I don't grasp a lot about colors, interior design, cushions, curtains, what goes with what, etc. Honestly, I prefer hiring a professional who would do all these things for me. So, I hired Zwia. Great decision.

See this for example, one of my goals was to make this place get the highest possible score in the real estate market. And this is a tough market! For instance, an actual bathtub instead of only a shower stall would definitely add some more points. There wasn't much room there for a bathtub, but Zwia made the impossible possible. The bathroom now has a bathtub.

My plan was to rent this apartment to two roommates - maximizing its potential. But it only had one small bedroom and one living room. So, two more walls were added, creating an extended kitchen and another bedroom.

Usually, I would paint these new walls in white. It’s the most common, it's the easiest, and I know how to do it myself. But this place, I wanted it to look different. So, I just told Zwia, basically, to do whatever she wants with this house. Choose her colors, picking for these lovely items like candles or those small vases or whatever it is - I have no clue.

As long as the place is good looking, cozy, nicely furnished, and fully equipped with everything a tenant might need, I am not concerned about the cupboard style or the carpet origin. I own it, of course, but I don't live in it myself. So, I fully trusted Zwia to use all her creativity. And believe me, she has a lot of it!

The combination of the pink and green colors together with this flamingo wallpaper was so unique. At first, I thought it might be too 'girly' but no way! I was quite surprised when two friendly male roommates entered, and they loved the design!

I would never have come up with something like this by myself. Zwia did an incredible job here. It's beyond all of my expectations, and not only as a renovation contractor, but I can really imagine myself living here.

Thank you, Zwia! You made my world a bit more beautiful. I would even say that somehow, you matched it to the meaning of my name.
